OUR MINISTRIES
Children
We love kids! That's why we designed a creative, imaginative, interactive space
just for them.
With great music, drama and storytelling, kids learn about
God's love for them every week in a dynamic way. We also care about
you, mom and dad. We want to provide you with some quiet time to connect
with God. That's why we offer such features as a paging system connecting
you to the Sanctuary and a secure check-in and check-out procedure
so you can enjoy the service without worry. Our computerized check-in
system saves time, increases classroom security and provides easy
accessibility to families attending our church. We also have
a 'new parent' room near the Sanctuary
with private space for nursing mothers.
We have special classes for our children with special needs called Special Treasures. Please contact Marv Snedeker at 956-9377 for more information.

DC4K (Divorce Care for Kids)

We run two13-week DC4K programs for children in kindergarten through fifth grade a year. Childcare will be provided for children birth through preschool. DC4K will provide a safe, neutral, fun place where children will:
- Learn to understand their feelings.
- Express their emotions appropriately.
- Learn to feel better about themselves.
- Develop coping skills.
- Be introduced to biblical concepts that will bring comfort.
DC4K sessions are filled with engaging activities centered around a weekly theme. These topics correlate with those discussed in the adult DivorceCare sessions. A typical evening will be filled with games, crafts, discussions, and journaling in workbooks, music, stories, Bible memorization and video dramas.
Contact Lou DeGraaf or 956-9377 for starting dates and to register your child(ren). The cost is $15 per child. Scholarships are available. Please note that this children's program is designed to run alongside of DivorceCare divorce recovery program.
